Penobscot County EMA is committed to transparency in our drone operations. Our public website and social media accounts describe our special response teams and the scope of the response. This will serve as a public notice of operations.
Drone support shall be used only for the following purposes:
a) Critical Infrastructure Incidents
b) FEMA Public Assistance Damage Assessments
c) Fires (Structural and Wildfires)
d) Hazardous Materials Incidents
e) Law Enforcement Incidents
f) Mass Casualty Incidents
g) Proficiency Training
h) Public Safety of Mass Gatherings
i) Search and Rescue Incidents
j) Structural Integrity Assessments
